RVP Consultants: Strengthening Global Education through the After Journey Program in Ghana

APRIL 10, 2025

At RVP Consultants, we are committed to fostering global partnerships that drive meaningful progress in education. We are excited to share that our ongoing collaboration with the Embassy of Ghana is bringing a transformative initiative to Ghana: the After Journey Program, a program designed to support international teachers beyond their time working abroad.

A Special Thanks to Mr. Amidu Mohammed Karande and His Team

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Amidu Mohammed Karande and his team at the Embassy of Ghana for their continued support. We’ve had the privilege of engaging with Mr. Karande both before and after the RVP Annual International Teacher Event 2024-2025. These discussions have focused on advancing education and creating opportunities for growth in Ghana, and we’re thrilled to continue this fruitful collaboration.

Introducing the After Journey Program in Ghana

The After Journey Program, which has already made a significant impact in other regions, is now being introduced in Ghana. This program is designed to provide comprehensive support to international teachers after they complete their tenure abroad. Typically lasting 3-5 years, the program offers teachers the opportunity to return to their home countries, where they can implement the strategies and programs they learned while working internationally. By supporting teachers in their transition back home, the program ensures that they continue contributing to the educational development of their communities.

Aligning with Ghana’s Educational Vision

The After Journey Program is a perfect fit for Ghana’s educational goals. By partnering with the Embassy of Ghana, we are able to support the country’s educational growth by empowering returning teachers. This collaboration will help foster connections between international institutions and Ghanaian educators, allowing best practices to be shared and implemented within Ghana’s educational system. Through continued professional development, teachers will be equipped to enhance educational outcomes in their local communities.

“We are confident that the After Journey Program will help strengthen the country’s education system and contribute to the growth of a highly skilled teaching workforce in Ghana.”

A Bright Future for Ghana’s Education System

Our ongoing discussions with the Embassy of Ghana focus on how this program can specifically benefit Ghanaian teachers who have worked abroad. By providing them with continued support, we are confident that the After Journey Program will help strengthen the country’s education system and contribute to the growth of a highly skilled teaching workforce in Ghana.

Looking Forward: Building Long-Term Solutions

As we continue to develop the After Journey Program with the Embassy of Ghana, we are focused on creating sustainable, long-term solutions that benefit international teachers. By helping them build on their international experiences, we ensure that they can continue making a positive impact on the educational landscape of their home countries and beyond.

We are excited about the future of this collaboration and the opportunities it will bring to teachers in Ghana. Stay tuned for more updates as we work closely with the Embassy of Ghana to bring the After Journey Program to life in Ghana and make a lasting impact on education both locally and globally!
