RVP International Professional Programs
RVP International Professional Programs are a suite of non-immigrant, cultural exchange initiatives designed to foster impactful professional collaboration between the United States and the global community. These programs provide international professionals from educators and subject matter experts to trainees, interns, and researchers with structured opportunities to engage with U.S. institutions, companies, and academic environments.
Each program is designed to benefit both the participant and the U.S. host organization. Participants gain firsthand exposure to U.S. professional standards, methodologies, and networks, supporting their long-term career development and cross-cultural competency. Host organizations, in turn, gain access to a diverse pool of internationally experienced talent, enriching their teams with fresh perspectives and specialized global expertise.

Spouses are eligible to apply for work authorization.
ABOUT
The RVP-US Teach program connects experienced international educators with full-time teaching positions at accredited U.S. schools. Operating as a formal cultural exchange initiative, the program enriches the U.S. educational landscape by introducing diverse pedagogical approaches, international curricula experience, and cross-cultural perspectives into American classrooms. Participating schools benefit from dedicated, credentialed educators who bring global knowledge and teaching excellence to their students.
DURATION
3 years, with a possible 2-year extension
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (preferred) or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of active teaching experience
- Valid teaching license or certification (where applicable)
- Currently teaching at the same level and subject as the intended U.S. placement
ABOUT
The RVP-US Specialist program facilitates the placement of highly qualified international subject matter experts within U.S. organizations. Through structured cross-cultural exchanges, the program enables the transfer of specialized knowledge and skills between foreign and American colleagues, contributing to organizational growth, innovation, and global competitiveness.
